Ernst Ludwig Riepenhausen (1762 – 1840), German draftsman and engraver who illustrated numerous scientific publications for the professors at the University of  Gottingen. His main work, in the Gottingen pocket calendar, included a total of 89 miniaturized reproductions based on engravings by William Hogarth, the satirical English artist.
