Maarten van Heemskerck (1498-1574) Dutch portrait and religious painter.

Johann Sadeler I (1550-1600) Flemish draftsman, publisher, and engraver.

Virgil Solis (1514-1562), German draughtsman and printmaker.

Stradanus (1523 – 1605), Flemish artist active in 16th-century Florence, Italy. 

Hans Vredeman de Vries (1527-c.1607), Dutch architect, painter, engineer, and engraver.
